Linden honey for stress and sleep problems

Properties of linden honey

There is a lot of information on the Internet about linden honey and its properties. The main mentions focus on the topic of fighting colds and flu. Less often, we talk about its calming, calming and appetite-stimulating effect in children . I checked why it is worth having linden honey in our home medicine cabinet. I invite you to read.

Linden honey is obtained from small-leaved or broad-leaved linden trees. Depending on where linden honey is harvested in Poland, the color may range from light amber to dark tea . Color also affects taste. Lighter honeys have a slightly floral flavor , while darker ones are spicier and have a mint flavor . Dark tea honeys are enriched with vitamins and enzymes that are found only in honeydew honey. This is due to the presence of honeydew secreted by honeydews (small worms living on linden trees).

Moreover, linden honey, compared to other nectar honeys, has a high content of essential oils that have a relaxing effect. This is why it is so effective in the treatment of neurosis, sleep problems and severe stress. Linden honey has the best anti-stress effect of all domestic honeys.

Where is it worth buying linden honey?

I have already written an entry about the right place to buy honey, which I invite you to read. But apart from the proven apiary, it is worth knowing that each region of Poland has different benefits due to its geographical diversity. There are places where there are many linden trees, e.g. the western part of Poland. This is the place where most linden trees were planted during World War II. When choosing honey from this region of Poland, we can be sure that the linden pollen content in the honey is the highest. However, there are places where you won't find linden avenues, e.g. the eastern regions of Poland. You have to be careful because beekeepers, despite their great intentions, assure us that their honey is made of linden, because it smells of linden, but in fact it is often ordinary multi-floral honey with the addition of linden. To create high-quality linden honey, the predominance of pollen in the honey must be higher than 50%. It is worth choosing a place with honey carefully.
