We present a recipe for delicious homemade granola with heather honey and blueberries. It's a great idea for breakfast or a late snack between meals, and its preparation is child's play. Granola with heather honey combines perfectly with natural yogurt, fresh seasonal fruit and syrups. It can also be consumed with milk. Properties of heather honey
The main ingredient used is heather nectar honey. Its thick and jelly-like consistency thoroughly covers the oatmeal. In addition, heather honey has a very distinct heather flavor and numerous nutritional properties. It is classified as one of the so-called "dark honeys", which, next to honeydew honey and buckwheat honey, contains the most; mineral salts, organic acids, enzymes and inhibins. In addition, heather honey supports the proper functioning of the urinary system. Additionally, it relieves diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, nausea and heartburn.
Recipe for granola with heather honey step by step
Before making granola, you need to prepare the following ingredients:
- 2 cups of oatmeal
- 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
- 4 tablespoons of heather honey
- 100 ml maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
- 3/4 cup hazelnuts
- 3/4 almonds
- half a cup of sesame seeds
- Optional: half a cup of sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds
- 0.5 cups of chopped cranberries
- A pinch of cinnamon and dried ginger
Wet Mass : In a bowl, combine oatmeal with oil, honey, maple syrup and a pinch of cinnamon and ginger - mix all ingredients thoroughly. Then spread the mixture evenly on baking paper and bake in the oven at 175 degrees for about 20 minutes. Dry Dough: Chop hazelnuts and almonds. Then roast it in a pan with sesame seeds.
Combine baked oatmeal with nuts and sesame seeds and add chopped cranberries. Then the resulting granola with heather honey and blueberries should be stored in a tight glass container for up to two weeks.
