Acacia Honey
Acacia honey is obtained from black locust, also called false acacia, white acacia or white linden. These plants belong to the legume family, but they come from two different parts of the world: acacia from Africa, black locust from North America.
Acacia honey - the sweetest bee product
It is classified as light and sweet honey. Thanks to its advantages, it is a favorite delicacy of all sweet tooths. In liquid form, it is light straw or straw-yellow in color with greenish accents, but after crystallization it becomes white or yellowish-cream. It crystallizes very slowly because it contains a large amount of fructose.
Acacia honey - support for the digestive system
Unlike other honeys, which are mainly known for helping to treat colds, acacia honey has health-promoting effects primarily on the digestive system. It has a positive effect on metabolism, regulates the digestion process and prevents constipation. It has a regenerating effect on the mucous membrane, so it can be successfully used in diseases of the stomach, duodenum, inflammation of the digestive system, intestinal spasms, peptic ulcer disease and erosions.
In addition, honey has a soothing effect on the body in case of physical or mental exhaustion, facilitates falling asleep and supports regeneration during rest. It is also excellent for skin diseases - when used in the form of compresses, it accelerates the treatment of purulent infections and enables effective wound healing.
