Bread with grains is the work of the "Bryła" bakery from Biłgoraj, which has been producing bread based on agricultural products from the Lublin region for over three decades. Seeds and grains, as well as two types of flour, affect not only the nutritional value of our bread (which we will write about in a moment), but also its taste and texture. Linseed, sunflower and pumpkin seeds add crunch and a delicate, nutty flavor. A beautifully baked loaf, just by its appearance, encourages you to cut a slice and spread it with butter. We assure you that it will taste great even without any additives!
Bread with grains and its nutritional properties
Grain bread is valued for its nutrient-rich properties. Here are some of them:
- Fiber - the addition of grains and seeds provides bread with a large amount of fiber, which supports digestion, regulates blood sugar levels, and helps maintain a feeling of satiety.
- Protein - grains and seeds are a good source of plant protein, which is beneficial for people who prefer plant-based diets.
- Healthy fats - seeds provide a large amount of healthy fats, such as unsaturated fatty acids, which support heart health.
- Minerals - grains and seeds contain various minerals, e.g. iron, magnesium, zinc and phosphorus.
- Additional ingredients enrich the bread with vitamins, e.g. vitamin E, B vitamins, and vitamin K.
- The seeds can provide antioxidants, so they help fight oxidative stress in the body.
How is baking done?
Bread with grains is baked according to the following scenario:
- Preparation of the dough - all ingredients, except grains and seeds, are mixed and then kneaded until a uniform and elastic dough is formed.
- Adding grains and seeds - pumpkin, sunflower and linseed seeds are added to the dough, which are evenly distributed, thus creating the characteristic grainy interior of the bread.
- Proofing the dough - the dough is left to rise until it doubles in volume. This allows the flavor and texture of the bread to develop.
- Forming and second rising - after the first rising, the dough is formed into a loaf shape and then left for another rising.
- The bread is baked at the appropriate temperature until it is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Bread with grains from the "Bryła" bakery
The bread we offer was made in the family bakery "Bryła", which has been operating for 37 years in Biłgoraj in the Lublin region. It is baked using a traditional method just before shipping, so the order processing time is 3-5 business days.
Note : If the order includes several products, shipping takes place after the longest deadline.
